Evtl. adjectives, etc. HOW TO MAKE NICE CUP OF TEA: Students write manual to do/prepare meal/exercise sport or any other idea PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN: Idea: has prepared some sentences out of the different Scenes of the film. find out who has said it. Then later guess the meaning of the new vocabulary. TASK: FIND OUT IF YOUR PARTNER IS LYING: a) Individual work. Write ten sentences about yourself, five should be true and five false. The sentences should be as interesting as possible, but remember that the idea is to trick your partners. Spend 5 minutes thinking about how you will answer questions about these things (whether true or false). Look up in dictionary for any vocabulary you need. b) Group work: Take turns to read your statements to your partners. they can ask as many questions as they like. Decide which of your partners statements are true and which are lies. REPETITION NEW VOCABULARY: Teacher prepares sentences with gaps. In these gaps the new voca of the last time should fit. Most of the time the sentences were questions. First in groups or individually finding out of expressions. Then control in class. Then move around in class and ask partner. Now new vocabulary is now chosen and explained. Then 8 comprehension questions are asked. Task should be written on worksheet. This worksheet can be copied by the teacher for everybody. Worksheet should content: Voca and mixed choice of possible explications/meaning and the questions plus enough room to write the answers should be offered. LISTENING TASK: On youtube.com search under following title: INSIDE THE ACTORS STUDIO then choose from different actors or actresses and then listen to the interview. The interviews are all about 10 minutes long. During and after listening students should write comprehension questions at the same time on word file. Then print it out for the teacher. He collects them all and in one of the next lessons the other students have to listen to one or more interviews and then answer the questions. LISTENING TASK: On short dialogues from 1 to 3 minutes length with 5 Multiplechoicequestions and possibility to check answers immediately. Also possibility of text display and vocabulary explanations. CREATE YOUR TEST: Five groups create each one part of the WRITING TEST CAE Exam on their own. Find examples in books or other text materials. HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE again like with Pirates of the Caribbean, has noted some vocabulary to find out what it could mean. try to find out. INTERNET SEARCH FOR INFOS: In groups we searched information about the actors of Harry Potter films. Read texts in Wikipedia, listen to youtube.com interviews (e.g. David Lettermann Show, Inside the Actors, etc.) and then present the information in group where everybody talks about his actor.
