Culture Gap, 7.Klasse Englisch How to survive in Switzerland guide for foreigners in Switzerland Task: You are going to make video (like Emily) in order to help people who recently moved to Switzerland. In your video you are going to give these people advice about customs (Gebräuche), unspoken rules (unausgesprochene Regeln) dos and donts in Switzerland. Whenever there is one, give reason for your advice (why?). As help you can start by answering some of the following questions and other questions that come to your mind. As help you can also have look at the following topics and at page 54 in your coursebook. What should you do in Switzerland when you sit at the table? Why? How do you shop in Switzerland? What is typical Swiss thing that people often do?Why? How do you behave when you eat dinner with Swiss people? etc. Requirements (Anforderungen) Length: between 1.30 2 minutes Pair: you work in group of two (Real and Sek together) Sek: (at least) tips for four different topics, Real: (at least) tips for three different topics the more tips the better :-) Use of the modal verbs have look in your script and use the modal verbs that are listed below Sek: should/nt, could/nt, can/t, might/may, must/nt Real: coul/nt should/nt, can/t Topics to talk about: Public transportation Food Recycling How to greet in Switzerland Holidays Table manners Manners in general (ex. punctuality) Becoming friends with Swiss people Sports and more . Do you know someone from different country who lives in Switzerland or who has visited Switzerland in the past? Ask them what they find/found special about Switzerland! Sprache Modalverben Du wendest verschiedene Modalverben korrekt in deinem Video an. Du integrierst die oben genannten Modalverben in einen sinnvollen Kontext. Sätze und Vokabular Deine Sätze sind nachvollziehbar, es ist klar, was du ausdrücken willst. Du verwendest mehrheitlich ganze Sätze. Du sprichst in deinen eigenen Worten Rahmenbedingungen Formales Gesamteindruck und Arbeitsverhalten Der Gesamteindruck stimmt (kreative Tipps, saubere Arbeit etc.) Das Video wird pünktlich abgegeben.
