Name: PRESENT PAST SIMPLE Class: Present simple: You use present simple when things happen regularly, for example everyday, always, never, every week. Remember: He, she, it das -S muss mit! So: walk, he walks etc. Past simple: Past simple is the tense you know when something happened some time ago. Signal words here are: yesterday, week ago, last year, in 2009. Remember: in past simple, there are regular verbs and irregular verbs. Regular verbs: add an -ed to the word. E.g. want - wanted, need - needed Irregular verbs: some verbs have irregular past forms.
