Read the text. The birthday party Its 3 pm on Saturday. Caseys mum is working in shop in town, and shes very busy. Casey, Muriel and Caseys dad are busy too. Theyre putting the food and drinks, plates and glasses for Caseys party on the table in the dining room. Caseys dad is looking at some CDs for the party. Now its 4 pm and the guests are arriving. Casey is opening his presents: books, CDs and sweets. An hour later, at 5 pm, some guests are dancing, some guests are eating and drinking, and some are sitting on the sofa. Casey can hear the doorbell – whos that? Grandma! Grandpa! What are you doing here? Were having birthday party! Great! Happy birthday, Casey! Heres your present – pair of socks. Casey isnt happy. Grandma and Grandpa are here, and the socks are boring. Is this the end of the party? At 6 pm everybody is saying This is great party, Casey! Casey is very happy.
