Afterwards, correction in plenum (attention: no student is allowed to turn the worksheet!) The second task can be done individually or in small groups (max. three students) 3 Pupils are able to write reply of 15 sentences or more. Last but not least, the third exercise. It is again an individual work. Brief summarisation Homework: finish the awnser to the singer. Pupils name all they know about Ireland. One student after the other. Writing Material Comments CD (cp. 2) song (worksheet 3) song is genuine source of authentic language. It is very motivating for most pupils to listen to song. Listening exercises with handful fun Listen to the song of Norah Jones and do the following exercises. 1. Listen to the song and put the pictures in the correct order. Write numbers from one to six on the lines beside the pictures. 2. Invent title for each paragraph and an overall title for the song. Discuss in group of two why you have chosen these titles. You can (but dont have to) use following questions as help: • Do you want to go away with her? • When do you want to meet her? and where? • Why cant you meet her? • Would you enjoy the day with her but you cant accompany her because you are allergic to yellow grass?
