Scene 7: At the bridal shop. Maria and Anita in their smocks. They talk about the rumble when Tony arrives. Anita goes home for having bath. Tony doesnt want to go to the rumble but Maria says he has to stop it. He says did so. It only fist fight now. But Maria doesnt want fist fight too, so Tony will have to stop it. He invites Maria to his home. Tony and Maria play, that their parents and friends are around there and agree to their love. Tony and Maria start singing. Scene 8: In the neighbourhood. Riff and the Jetson one side. Bernardo and the Sharks on the other side. Anita, Maria and Tony at different places. They all are singing. The song is about the rules of the rumble and about the fight. Riff asks Tony if he will be at the fight in the evening. Scene 9: Under the highway. Bernardo and Diesel taking off their jackets and handing them to Cino and Riff. The fight between Bernardo and Diesel starts. But Tony tries to stop the fight. Bernardo doesnt want to hear what Tony says. After he insults Tony Riff hits him. Both, Bernardo and Riff, have their knifes in their hands at the same time. Diesel and Action hold Tony, but he breaks free and will stop Riff. Riff hesitates and in this short moment, Bernardo runs his knife into Riff. Tony jumps to Riff and takes Riff knife out of his hand and rams it into Bernardo. Whats happening then? All hear police whistle. They run away exept Tony. He stands over the dead bodys of Riff and Bernardo. He cries after Maria. Another police whistle. Anybody returns and takes Tony back to realization. They run away. Tony has to stop and run another direction.
