The Day After Tomorrow – Project Unit 13 in New Hotline Starter Have you seen the movie The Day After Tomorrow or do you know what the movie is about? Can you guess the meaning of the day after tomorrow? About the movie: Climatologist Jack Hall has predicted the start of new ice age, but no one seems to believe him. However, as growing floods, hail and tornadoes threaten the world, it is clear that there will be huge change in the global climate which is danger for the whole planet. Unfortunately Jacks son Sam is in the middle of the danger zone – in New York. Jack gets involved in dangerous race against the biggest and obstinate ( eigensinnig) enemy of man: Mother Nature! We will watch the beginning of the movie. While you are watching, try to answer the following questions (write them down on the back of this sheet or in your notebook): 1.
