Make sure that they understand the survey. 2 Tell them that they have to go through the activities at the end of the day and mark all the activities they did during that day. Then they calculate the amount of water they used. 3 Introduce possible questions and chunks for the first activity. Did you have bath? – Yes did, no didnt. How often did you? – Once, twice, three times day How much water did you use? Make an example with one student. They write in the grid. As teacher walk around and make notes of language problems that arise. 5 After certain time, students go back to their seat and write two sentences about the students they interviewed in their notebook (one is true, one is false) e.g Sara flushed the toilet ten times. Sara didnt have bath. Mark used 15 litres for washing his hands. 6 Let some students read true and false sentences. Then let the class guess. Tell them to do the same with their neighbour.
